Vera model pochette with handpainted peony flowers

The simple and linear style of this model belonging to the Iconic collection has been embellished by the cream python skin with metallic gold streaks, but above all by the hand-painted red peonies on the flap of the bag that gives a touch of color to the clutch and the make it unique and exclusive.

The Vera has a flat and elongated shape, (its measures are cm 33x17x1) which makes it very practical and functional although it is a clutch bag.

The interior, accessible thanks to a hidden snap button, is equipped with a single compartment complete with lipstick pocket and a zipped document pocket. An additional zip pocket is present in the under flap.

The Vera has a detachable shoulder strap made of gold-colored chain.

The python used for the manufacturing of the Vera clutch bag with Peonies is a Back Cut CURTUS python, with large central scales and small scales on the sides. The background shade is an opaque cream embellished with metallic gold streaks at the base of the scales. This particular coloring technique, finished by hand, in addition to illuminating the entire bag, seems to make the skin itself three-dimensional and full-bodied since it gives life and shape to every single python scale.

To make the Vera clutch a truly unique and precious piece are the red peonies hand-painted on the flap by a talented painter with whom Gleni has been collaborating for some time; a delicate painting of one of the most romantic and beautiful flowers existing in nature that goes well with the harmony of the shapes of this clutch bag.

Iconic is an outstanding collection created by Gleni a few years ago. This is a line that we at Gleni care about because, broadly speaking, it represents a bit of our entire working history. In fact, the bags and accessories included in this collection are pieces that we designed with our collaborators at the beginning of our business but which we then put aside for a few years, leaving room for more recent models. Now, after many years, given the many requests from customers, we have decided to dust off those old models and bring them back to the market, while still giving them a new and current look.

This part of the collection includes models to which we particularly care because they are the latest creations conceived by the founder of Gleni, Mr Arben, to whom he himself had dedicated particular care and dedication and which today, a few years after his death, we want to further improve in order to make each model simply unique.
