Special events: all the accessories for a perfect outfit

May and June bring, besides the good weather, the ceremony season that gives as much joy as stress. Whether it is the wedding of the best friend, the confirmation of the nephew or an important event, we are always faced with the doubt: what should we wear?

It is enough to surf the web to find many tutorials on what you SHOULDN’T wear to a wedding or on the perfect outfit for a bridesmaid or a godmother. But what if you don’t want to buy a new dress and, why not, recycle the one you used last year? Or maybe add a nice touch to a basic dress in your wardrobe?

We got you covered.

Accessories to wear to your next big event

Fix everything with a belt

The easier and cheaper solution is to choose an accessory that is too often underestimated by women. How many of you have less than two in the closet? And how many none?

Yet the belt is an essential, especially when you need to recycle an outfit or enhance basic clothes. Here some suggestions:

1. A belt with a bright buckle is important for not wearing other accessories: a precious buckle, in fact, will allow you not to wear other jewels. Wear it over your favourite suit, tie your hair into a low, sleek ponytail and brighten your face with make-up … you’ll be perfect with simplicity!

2. A luminous and thin belt on your basic little black dress: every woman has a worn and re-worn little black dress in her closet. To renovate it, you just need to add a tiny belt on your waist and it will look as good as new. Try it and see for yourself! What if the little black dress is not really black, but white? No worries, just add a thin and colourful belt!

3. The perfect dress could be the one you have not worn for so many years because it’s too big or too long or too loose. Here, too, the best solution is to add a belt. A belt with an important buckle or a thin belt will shorten the dress and enhance the waist in a few simple steps.

Wear a statement bag

Another way to spice up your outfit is to draw all the attention to a statement bag. Even the most classic dress will be suitable for a ceremony if you wear a statement bag. Some suggestions?

Lolita – Whether it is in black&white ostrich, in lavender python combined with ostrich leather or in a passionate red python, this mini bag will make an impression for sure.  Lolita has a strong personality, but it is small, elegant and graceful at the same time.

Vera – An envelope clutch with essential lines and an eccentric soul. Vera is the classic bag to carry in your hands and that together with a nice manicure and a statement ring will enhance any dress, even the veiled one you usually wear to go to the beach.

La Classica with hand-painted tulips – This would be the least boring bag ever! It doesn’t even need detailed descriptions: La Classica in genuine green python presents some hand-painted pink tulips. Its shape is classic and simple, but the detail makes it precious and perfect for a spring wedding.

Match your bag with your earrings

A very good alternative to our first proposals is to wear a simple, colourful and summery dress. Choose a coloured bag and match it with a pair of statement earrings of the same colour… Wear a touch of lipstick and you’re ready! Nothing easier, right?
