San Benedetto del Tronto is still immersed in the summer weather, yet the rest of the world slowly lets go to the arrival of fall and its colors.
Like every year, the begining of Fashion Week all over the world marks the passage into the new season, and the inevitable “change of wardrobe”: and this is the time to say goodbye to light dresses and saturated colors, leaving room for fall garments of warm and enveloping undertones.
What are the colors of this Fall/ Winter 2017 and how have we interpreted them for GLENI Boutique?
Pantone Color Institute defines this Navy Peony “solid and stable”. Destined to be the perfect neutral color for lovers of dark and minimal who want to try something new, without risking too much. Blue is a reliable color, elegant and easy to combine, so it does not surprise us that also this year it is present in the fall pallette, in a declination slightly different than usual.
At Gleni Boutique we do not often use blue for the creation of our articles and we have only a couple of bags in the full color; however, we do not mind using it for details, as in this case for the Dama with butterflies.
Reduced to two different shades, one from a cool and lively undertone, the other from one that is calming and warm.
Marina, the first, is the only “cool” color of this palette. Thanks to its vibrancy, it will know how to refresh your wardrobe.
Blue Bell, the second, is a light powder blue that transmits tranquility and a sense of peace.
In our boutique you can find this relaxing color on Adele in python: small in size but big in personality, it will be the perfect spot of light for your outfit.
Green, already the color of the year in the Greenery shade, could only be set out in more variations: one darker and strong, the other more sober and neutral.
Shaded Spruce in the wake of the color of the year, strongly recalls the hues of the trees; if with Greenery you were simply closing your eyes to imagine the reborn nature, Shaded Spruce is inspired by forests of pine trees, perennial and self-assured.
Its golden undertone, on the other hand, makes Golden Lime a sober and neutral green, yet not at all discounted, to wear in combination with the fall classics.
For some years now, mustard is a must have of the fall palette; it is elegant yet at the same time easy to match – such as with blue or for those who are bolder, with eggplant.
Lemon Curry resumes the classic mustard, adding an exotic and spicy subtlety, making it spicier than its classic version.
Golden Olive is very unique: yellow and green blend together to create a color of an earthy spirit and a somewhat eccentric mood.
If you love mustard in the fall, we recommend our Helena in ostrich, a portfolio bag that with its personality will know to be the perfect accessory.
Beige is probably the ultimate reassuring color for every fall season.
Otter is the darkest and earthiest base of beige this year. Like Navy Peony, it will be a color for lovers of dark who want to try something new without risking too much.
Butterum is a cozy shade, warm and inviting, perfect for a cashmere sweater.
Toast is a lighter alternative to Butterum, but likewise comfortable and warm.
Red should never be missed in any seasonal palette and Pantone does not disappoint us, indicating two shades.
Grenadine, a strong and dynamic red from a warm base that will not go unnoticed.
Flame Scarlet, also strong and deep, but slightly cooler and more lively than the first. The color for a perfect red lipstick.
At GLENI Boutique we have never hidden the love we feel for red, often creating handbags in its different shades and in varied shapes; from clutches to large bags, however, you have shown us that you also love it, rewarding us with purchases that sold out all the articles in this color. That’s why we want to recommend our Lolita in python and ostrich, a true must have for such lovers.
It does not end here however: in the fall/winter palette of 2017 there will still be shades of pink, grey, copper, purple and Burgundy and Gleni will not limit the colors that are proposed. You know, in fact, that we support being ourselves, and we do it by wearing and creating only what we like and what inspires us.
Do not be overwhelmed by trends … be yourself and create your own style!
